Georgia Tech looking to capitalize on recent Tennessee LB decommitment

One gets the sense that Braylon Outlaw is not going to be on the market for long. Outlaw, a three-star linebacker from Pike Road, Alabama, had been a long-time commitment of the Tennessee Volunteers. He committed to Josh Huepel's 2026 class back in November 2024. He stayed committed to Tennessee despite a heavy pursuit from Ole Miss, and with just weeks remaining until the December signing period, he seemed a lock to play his freshman season of college football on Rocky Top. And then, Outlaw took a visit to Georgia Tech this past weekend to watch the undefeated and No. 8-ranked Yellow Jackets wax Syracuse, 41-16. “My visit was great,” Outlaw told Steve Wiltfong of Rivals. "I really enjoyed being up there. What excites me most is the culture of the program and the direction it is headed in.” Not long after that statement, the three-star announced his decommitment from Tennessee.
