The Guam Department of Education will present its annual State of Public Education Report for School Year 2024–2025 this Thursday. Superintendent Dr. Erik Swanson will lead the presentation at 6pm at GDOE Headquarters in Tiyan — and it will also be livestreamed on the department’s YouTube channel. The report is required by Public Law 26-26 and provides a comprehensive look at the progress, challenges, and achievements of Guam’s public school system.it covers everything from student performance and academic outcomes to financial accountability and educational initiatives. Dr. Swanson says the report is an important opportunity to reflect on GDOE's progress and reaffirm its commitment to student success. The formal presentation is expected to last about 30 minutes, with copies of the report to be made available to attendees and the public afterward.
