London, October 20 (QNA) - Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, who is visiting London, discussed with Secretary of State for Business and Trade Peter Kyle, and Minister of State at the Department for Business and Trade Chris Bryant, the best ways to resolve all outstanding issues in the Free Trade Agreement negotiations between the GCC and the United Kingdom. They also reviewed the latest developments of the negotiating teams from both sides. The GCC Secretary-General stressed the importance of intensifying joint efforts between the two sides and working to bring all viewpoints closer on all remaining issues in the negotiations. He noted that the Free Trade Agreement between the GCC and the United Kingdom will significantly contribute to strengthening trade and economic relations between the two sides and open new horizons for cooperation in various fields.
