Private detective Tanya Puri has made several claims in one of her recent interviews. From a top Bollywood actor cheating on his wife to an actress working as an escort, the allegations she made have grabbed everyone’s attention. Among other things, Tanya also shared how a closeted actor was once blackmailed by a woman who threatened to expose his sexual identity. “A lot of blackmailing cases happen in the entertainment industry. One of the cases that we had was that the guy was gay and he has not come out. He is a young actor, and him being gay is not an openly known thing,” she told Siddharth Kannan. Puri claimed that the woman blackmailed the actor and even asked him for money. “So the actor got involved in a one-night stand with a girl at a club and the girl took evidence from that one-night stand and started blackmailing him because she figured that he is gay and not interested in her. So she blackmailed him for money and told him that ‘if you don’t give me so and so amount, I will bring this reality out in front of the world’,” she added. Tanya further shared that the matter was eventually resolved and a settlement was made without involving any money. “Eventually, the guy got trapped and his team contacted us. They wanted to find out more information about the girl and why did she do it? Such cases take months to solve. Eventually, they came to a place of discussion and the evidence eventually didn’t come out. There was a settlement done. No money was paid to the girl because there were certain evidences against the girl also, and that helped that actor,” she concluded. However, it should also be noted that the detective did not take any names in her interviews or while talking about this particular incident.
