As he edges closer to the rim of the stage, the performer loses his balance and tips over headfirst, falling into the crowd as his cowboy hat tumbles off his head. Adcock quickly recovered after that, jumping right up and greeting fans pressed up against the barricade as he walked past. In the comments of a video of the incident on TikTok, he wrote, “It happens.” On Monday (Nov. 3), the singer showed off the gnarly mark his impromptu stunt left on his thigh. “Well, a lot of y’all saw me bust my a– off the stage the other night,” Adcock tells the camera, hiking up his bathrobe to show the purply bruise covering his upper leg. “I just wanted to show you the result of that. Look at that big ole bruise right there. S–t.” “It only hurts a little,” Adcock assured fans in his caption. Adcock is currently on tour following the release of his album Own Worst Enemy in August. The musician has been gaining notoriety this past year, thanks to both the success of the LP and his affinity for speaking his mind about other musicians. In June, for instance, he slammed Beyoncé’s Grammy winning Cowboy Carter album — “That s–t ain’t country music and it ain’t ever been country music,” he said at the time — and in September, he posted a video of himself at a festival arguing with a heated Zach Bryan, whom Adcock had previously criticized for allegedly blowing off a fan wanting an autograph.
