Cox Mobile is hosting a free watch party for the 2025 Red River Rivalry game between Oklahoma and Texas at the Gathering Place on Oct. 11.
The party will begin at 1 p.m. with lawn games, face painting and music before the game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. and is shown on the big screen.
The big screen will be located on the QuikTrip Lawn near the ONEOK Boathouse at the Gathering Place, where guests can camp out with lawn chairs and blankets.
Snacks, soft drinks and beer will be available for purchase. Attendees can bring outside food, but not outside alcohol, to the watch party. The party will continue until the end of the game.
“Since 1900, this has been one of the most highly anticipated rivalries in college football, and we are thrilled that Cox Mobile could help make this fun big-screen watch party free for families to enjoy,” Cox Vice President & Market Leader Roger Ramseyer said in a press release.
“We are grateful to our amazing long-term partners at Gathering Place for hosting as fans watch OU’s John Mateer and UT’s Arch Manning lead their teams in this historic rivalry.”
