Miguel García Cano’s new exhibition Momentos transforms landscapes into living emotions, inviting visitors in Garrucha and beyond to see reality through his artistic eye. A new chapter for Garrucha’s cultural scene The opening of Momentos, the latest exhibition by painter Miguel García Cano, has marked a milestone in Garrucha’s local arts calendar. Organised by the Town Hall’s Department of Culture, the event drew an audience captivated by García Cano’s unmistakable style – where each brushstroke becomes a visual stage that seems to transcend reality itself. As organisers put it, “every line turns into a visual scenario that merges with life.” Visitors described feeling moved by both the painter’s subtlety and expressive power – a fusion that blurs the line between the tangible world and pure imagination. Landscapes that breathe and evoke Miguel’s work reflects his unique blend of technical precision and poetic vision. Originally trained in architectural drawing, his artistic journey has led him to reinterpret nature as a mirror of human emotion. In Momentos, the artist gathers what he calls “captured and combined instants,” diverse places harmonised through his gaze and sensitivity. Each canvas suspends time, revealing quiet beauty and serene balance. Familiar landscapes of Anadalucia appear almost dreamlike, inviting the viewer into moments of contemplation where colour becomes emotion and silence becomes part of the composition. Now you can visit ‘Momentos’ The exhibition runs from November 1 to 28 at the Sala de Exposiciones, Centro Cultural de Garrucha, open Monday to Friday from 7pm to 8:30pm. This is not simply an art show – it’s an emotional journey through the language of light and landscape. Garrucha’s councillor for culture, Luis José Fernández Cortés , said: “A highly recommended exhibition for lovers of pictorial art.” Whether you’re an art enthusiast or simply curious, Momentos offers a chance to pause, reflect, and rediscover the beauty of everyday scenes through an artist’s extraordinary perspective.
