Hon. Jobe received the prestigious plaque on behalf of the country and its tourism stakeholders. The celebration was shared with partners and supporters, including Nigerian travel icon Ambassador Ikechi Uko and his team, who joined in acknowledging The Gambia's outstanding achievement. WTM London, one of the world’s biggest tourism gatherings, this year attracted more than 43,000 visitors, nearly 5,000 exhibitors representing 180 countries, and facilitated over 34,000 business meetings. The Gambia continues to use this influential platform to expand its international visibility and promote the nation as a vibrant, year-round travel destination.
