Fuse Media Partners With Comedian Kevin KevOnStage Fredericks

Fuse Media has unveiled a new partnership with comedian and New York Times bestselling author Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks. As part of the collaboration, KevOnStage will develop original, culturally driven programming across Fuse Media’s portfolio. Fuse+ subscribers will gain access to new content beginning on Oct. 1.
The partnership will bring several of his titles exclusively to Fuse’s subscription streaming service, Fuse+, including “Coming to the Stage,” “Crafts & Cocktails,” “Black Card Off Layaway,” “A Workplace Comedy,” “Black People Don’t Do Improv,” “That’s Cap” and “What’s Good?!”
“We’re in a moment where creators aren’t just making content, we’re building movements. Partnering with Fuse Media I get to do what I love, create, laugh, and share stories that matter, with a company that’s just as passionate about culture as I am,” said Fredericks in a statement. “This isn’t just a deal; it’s a chance to expand what entertainment looks like and who gets to shape it. We’re making something bigger than content; we’re making impact.”
Fredericks and Fuse’s collaboration will spotlight frequent collaborators including Tim Chantarangsu, Tony Baker, Angel Laketa Moore, Tye Tribbett and Tahir Moore. According to Fuse Media, this collaboration will serve its mission to “amplify diverse voices and to connect with young multicultural audiences.”
Fredericks is the star, creator and executive producer of BET+’s “Churchy.” His credits include HBO Max’s “A Black Lady Sketch Show,” Amazon Prime’s “Black Love” and Will Smith’s “Dads Just Don’t Understand,” which he hosted for Facebook Watch. Fredericks has also produced Will Smith’s Snapchat series “Will from Home” and written or produced for AwesomenessTV, Nickelodeon, All Def and MTV.
“With a voice that’s funny, unfiltered, and deeply relatable, KevOnStage embodies the next generation of creator-driven entertainment,” said Fuse Media CEO Miguel Roggero in a statement. “This partnership reflects the broader shift we’re seeing in the industry—where authentic creators aren’t just talent, they’re cultural leaders redefining what audiences want and where they want it.”
Fuse has recently struck partnerships with Weezy and Big Freedia.
