FULL TOUR: The Sanctum Lounge Inspired by Doctor Strange on the Disney Destiny

A lounge inspired by Marvel’s Doctor Strange is on the Disney Destiny. Check out our full tour at The Sanctum, which is located on Deck 3. Journey into the world of Marvel Studios Doctor Strange at The Sanctum. You don’t have to be the Sorcerer Supreme to enjoy the mesmerizing array of spellbinding cocktails, spirits and coffee drinks available at the bar. Sign A single piece of artwork invites you into The Sanctum. The geometric design resembles the Seal of the Vishanti. Interior The Sanctum Lounge is inspired by the Sanctum Sanctorum and the Cloak of Levitation. The space is richly detailed, with dark wood accents, glowing lamps, and mystical décor for this Marvel-inspired lounge. Mustard yellow, olive green, and burgundy velvet couches surround tables in various shapes and sizes. There are some television screens surrounded in wood frames. During our visit, an image of 177A Bleecker St. added to the ambiance of the lounge. On the sides of the screens are glass display cabinets, also framed in wood, that have various Doctor Strange props. The walls have sconce lighting, and the brown drapes have a sheen to them. Other seating arrangements include booths and chairs made of leather, as well as tan velvet-covered chairs. The tables are shaped to reflect the mystical world of Doctor Strange. This color palette resembles Strange’s robes and overall energy. A secluded portion of the lounge has a private table with a booth and table. There is a geometric-style chandelier that hangs from the ceiling and props placed on on wood shelves. Deep red drapes with gold tassels line the opening of the circular-shaped space. The centerpiece is the Window of the Worlds, the large circular “window” behind the bar. It is known as a powerful magical barrier in Doctor Strange. The symbol is a circle with four swooping lines and is illuminated, suggesting a port-like energy connecting to other dimensions. Elsewhere in the lounge, there are lattice and arcane patterns across the walls and columns, which resemble the magical mandalas from the Doctor Strange films. The carpet is blue with white and goldtone floral details. Other design details taken from Doctor Strange include the geometric patterns on the bar and the flooring. There is also marbled tiling, making this a space with a variety of flooring designs. Entertainment The Sanctum will host a variety of activities throughout the voyage, including crafts, trivia, and musical performances. There is a small stage area with drapes, which will be a focal point when these activities are happening. Menu The printed menus are display inside a brown menu with gold designs and “The Sanctum” text on the front. Food offerings include stuffed waffles with either a custard cream or mixed berry compote filling. Some highlights from the drink menu include: Vapors of Valtorr: Grey Goose Altius Vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and butterfly pea flower syrup topped with berry-flavored bubbles. Circle of the Cosmos: Zero-Proof (Non-Alcoholic) Beverage made with Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, Verjus Blanc, and fresh lemon juice garnished with a lemon peel spiral. Served in an upside down martini glass. The Mirror Dimension: Stoli Elit Vodka, Lychee, Fresh Lemon Juice, Pink Peppercorn, and Eletricdust Buzz Rock. It is served in an interactive glass and garnished with an electrifying dust The beer tap in The Sanctum is a 177 Ale, exclusive to the Disney Destiny. 177 is the number for the Bleecker Street address, so that is a fun detail guests may miss. We also spotted a Doctor Strange sipper, pictured above. It is in the shape of the Eye of Agamotto with a green eye. It has a red and blue striped strap. The Disney Destiny will set off on its maiden voyage from Fort Lauderdale on November 20, 2025. It will be the third Wish class ship, following the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. The fourth Wish class ship is now under construction. Check out our full tour of De Vil’s, another lounge on the ship. What do you think of The Sanctum?
