FULL TOUR: Marvel Concierge Tower Suite on the Disney Destiny

The Tower Suite aboard the new Disney Destiny cruise ship is in the forward funnel. We got to to tour the Marvel-inspired space, which features a completely exclusive retreat and private elevator. Experience the pinnacle of luxury in a 2-story suite perched high in the ship’s forward funnel above the upper decks. This Marvel-inspired penthouse at sea brings Tony Stark’s sleek, innovative style to life, offering you an exclusive retreat complete with your very own private elevator. Entry In addition to a private elevator, guests can access the suite via stairs. Marvel-inspired designs line the walls of the space. More Marvel-themed artwork hangs in the stairwell. The wallpaper is a textured gray with wood wainscoting. More artwork lines the walls, including Iron Man. The Stateroom number outside the door is a red shield with a goldtone Iron Man mask. We toured Stateroom 14000, which is on Deck 14. “Destiny Tower Suite” 3D text is on the wall, along with abstract artwork, right outside the entrance. The door to the Suite has a doorbell and a DisneyBand+ reader. Upon entering the suite, there is a red velvet bench. The kitchenette is off to the right. Brass Marvel-themed artwork hangs on the wall in a set of eight circular discs. There is also a half bathroom at the entry. Main Living Space The 1,966 sq. ft. Tower Suite sleeps eight. It has a kitchen and living area with a sleek and sophisticated aesthetic. Inspired by Tony Stark’s, this penthouse honors the legacy of The Avengers. There are floor-to-ceiling windows between the two stories the suite occupies, offering plenty of natural light and panoramic views. A decorative chandelier hanging over the living space, which includes a curved couch, two chairs, an entertainment center, and a geometric-shaped coffee table. A nearby bar area offers more seating. On the other side of the living space is the dining area and kitchen area. A wet bar is stocked with water and sodas. More artworks hangs in the Tower Suite. Kitchen and Dining The kitchenette includes cabinets, marble countertops, a pantry, and a sink. You can open a sliding window to see out into the main living space. The kitchen also has a coffee maker, and a chest of tea bags. The rectangular table has eight red velvet chairs with wood backs. The floor has swirled marble floors with a large red area rug. Iron Man’s mask sits in the corner on display. Stairs A grand spiral staircase leads to the second story of the suite. On display is the Eternity Forge from Eternals. The golden spherical object has intertwining rings and a central blue core. The walls are made of a deep wood paneling. Here is a view of the chandelier and panoramic windows from the top of the stairs. Bedroom 1 The first bedroom is upstairs in the roundly-shaped space. It has a king bed with a leather-style headboard and wood panel details. Each side of the bed has a nightstand, and a large chandelier is placed in the middle of the room. The carpet is deep shades of red and beige. There is also a small vanity area and television. A large walk-in closet has shelves and cubbies, as well as hangers, a mini-safe, and emergency devices. Bathroom 1 A bathroom is connected to this bedroom, and it includes a soaker tub, walk-in shower, vanity with two sinks, and a separate toilet room. Disney provides plenty of towels, robes, and toiletries. The wood paneling continues on the cabinets, and the countertops are a white and gray marble. There are brass accents on the faucets, shelves, and towel hooks. The walk-in shower has a rainfall shower head and built-in shelving. There is an accent wall behind the tub. The separate toilet room includes a button to flush the toilet and a shelf for more storage. Bedroom 2 The second bedroom is also upstairs. It includes a king size bed and and many of the same design details as the other bedroom. There is a small vanity area and television as well. The bed has a beige and maroon runner at the end. Another walk-in closet includes shelves and cubbies, along with hangers, another mini-safe, and emergency devices. Bathroom 2 The second bathroom includes the same features and amenities as the other bathroom. There is a large soaker tub with a tiled accent wall behind it. Gray and white swirled marble tiles cover the rest of the walls in the shower and tub area. The vanity has two sinks and include towels and toiletries. This walk-in shower also features a rainfall shower head and built-in shelves. Plus, there are several towel racks and hooks for your robes and other clothing. Children’s Bedroom The children’s room has unique built-in bunk beds with wood paneling. They have gold and black railings and a ladder. The ceiling of the kids’ room features light-up stars, which create a constellation-style outline of Iron Man. Pictured above is a detailed view of the ceiling. This room also includes shelves and cubbies for plenty of storage solutions. There is also a replica of the “Proof That Tony Stark Has A Heart” arc reactor in a display case. Bathroom 3 A third bathroom is connected to the children’s room. It includes a vanity with one sink, a toilet, and a shower. Library/Bedroom and Bathroom 4 The library also serves as an additional bedroom with its own full bathroom with double sinks and shower. The space includes a red velvet couch, coffee table, television, and storage area. The carpet is beige and deep red to match the decor of the area. And, a fourth bathroom in this area has double sinks and a shower. Amenities Because this is a Concierge Suite, guests booking this Tower Suite can expect down duvets, several pillow options, personal robes and slippers, complimentary access to Premium Surf Wi-Fi internet service, and exclusive access to dedicated areas on the ship, including the Concierge Lounge. Disney Cruise Line also provides Concierge with several pre-arrival services, including booking port adventures, reservations, and other special requests. Once onboard, Concierge Guests receive priority tendering in ports of call, updates to their personal itinerary, and special occasion/celebration planning. We have been able to tour several Suites and Staterooms during our stay, including the Hercules Royal Suite and Big Hero 6 Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah.
