Full list of Birmingham and Black Country tax dodging firms that owe more than £156 million

The Inland Revenue has published a list of companies and individuals across the UK who have not paid their tax bill with a Birmingham firm topping the list. His Majestic’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has published its latest blacklist of ‘deliberate tax defaulters’, with some 591 firms and individuals across the country who have failed to pay at least £25,000. The HMRC list shows the amount of tax owed over a period and then the penalty it has handed out for the tax default. Read more: Every Midlands tax dodger shamed by HMRC in brutal list Among the firms and individuals on the tax defaulters list are a supermarket, two takeaways, a consultant plastic surgeon, a newsagents, a recruitment consultant and a care provider. There are 24 Birmingham and Black Country listings, with one Brum entry, 10442565 Ltd, formerly known as ‘Hive 360 Employer Limited’, facing a £144 million bill. The Harborne management consultancy firm, which used to be listed at Harborne Road, Birmingham and Princes Gate, in Kensington, London, has a tax bill of £87,497,009 and penalties on top of £56,873,055.85, resulting in a combined total of £144,370,064.85. Get the latest BirminghamLive news direct to your inbox Firms in the area owning millions include Aces Logistics Ltd – a freight delivery firm in Bromford Road, Hodge Hill which has a tax bill of £1,869,351 and £1,308,545.70 penalties on top – a total of £3,177,896.70. Also, 13408494 Ltd, formerly known as ‘Hive 360 Management 006 Ltd’, formerly of Hagley Road in Edgbaston , had outstanding tax of £1,497,864 and a penalty of £943,654.32, a total of £2,441,518.32 While Only Best Limited, a payroll services business based in St Paul’s Square in the Jewellery Quarter, owed tax of £974,819 and received a penalty of £580,017.30, totalling £1,554,836.30. And M & E Group (Leicester) Ltd, a construction firm formerly of Lower Villers Street in Wolverhampton, had a tax bill of £468,677 and a penalty on top of £292,923.08 – totalling £761,600.08. Together that’s £156,715,302.89 owed to the taxman. HMRC publishes the list to warn others and encourage those that have not paid to cough up. 10442565 Ltd (formerly known as ‘Hive 360 Employer Limited’) The management consultancy firm Formerly of Third Floor, 8 Harborne Road, Birmingham, B15 3AA and 55 Princes Gate, London, SW7 2PN, owed tax of £87,497,009 between 1 Feb 2019 to 31 Jan 2024 and was given a penalty of £56,873,055.85. Aces Logistics Ltd The freight delivery business of 201 Bromford Road, Birmingham, B36 8HA, owed tax of £1,869,351 from 1 Apr 2022 to 31 Mar 2023 and was given a penalty of £1,308,545.70. Crest Convenience Store Ltd The newsagent, formerly of 1 The Crest, Alvechurch Road, Birmingham, B31 3PZ, owed tax of £598,643.74 from 6 Apr 2010 to 5 Apr 2019 and was given a £314,287.83 penalty. Send Money India Limited The money services firm, of 371 Soho Road, in Handsworth, B21 9SE, owed £37,597.67 between 1 Aug 2014 to 31 Jul 2020 and was given a penalty of £16,448.95. Gabriel Stan The glazer, of 11 Albert Road, Erdington , Birmingham, B23 7LT and formerly of 235 Oxhill Road, Birmingham, B21 8HA, owed tax of £25,532.89 between 6 Apr 2022 to 5 Apr 2024 and was handed a £16,532.53 penalty. Only Best Limited The payroll services business, of Suite 2A, Blackthorn House, St Pauls Square, in the Jewellery Quarter, B3 1RL, owed tax of £974,819 between 1 Feb 2024 to 30 Apr 2024 and was given a penalty of £580,017.30. 13406346 Ltd (formerly known as ‘VRGP Solutions Ltd’ and ‘Consultancy Masters Ltd’) The management consultants, formerly of 8th Floor (West Wing) 54 Hagley Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B16 8PE, owed £578,979 from 1 Jul 2022 to 24 May 2023 and was given a penalty of £395,153.15. Mall Recruitment Ltd (formerly known as ‘Tecbuyer Ltd’) The recruitment consultants, of Fairgate House, 205 Kings Road, Tyseley, Birmingham, B11 2AA and formerly of 622 Shirley Road, Hall Green , Birmingham, B28 9LB, owed £146,770.51 from 1 Sept 2018 to 31 Aug 2022 and was given a penalty of £137,964.26. Mabroor Ahmed Bhatty The consultant plastic surgeon, of 795 Chester Road, Erdington, Birmingham, B24 0BX, owed £39,863.80 in tax from 6 Apr 2014 to 5 Apr 2015 and was ordered to pay a penalty of £18,138.02. 13408494 Ltd (formerly known as ‘Hive 360 Management 006 Ltd’) The accountancy services business, formerly of 54 Hagley Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B16 8PE, owed tax of £1,497,864 from 1 Aug 2021 to 30 Apr 2023 and was handed a penalty of £943,654.32. Midland Claims Specialists Limited The claims handler firm, formerly of Enterprise House, 656 Chester Road, Erdington, Birmingham, B23 5TE, owed £646,480.56 between 1 Apr 2010 to 31 Dec 2020 and was given a penalty of £315,159.06. Individual Chauffeurs Ltd The car rental firm, formerly of 15 Cateswell Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, B28 8NF, owed £30,000 in tax for the period 1 Sep 2022 to 30 Nov 2022 and was also given a £30,000 penalty. Tai Kwok Wing Ltd (formerly known as Sun Yip (U.K.) Limited and formerly trading as ‘Sun Yip’) The supermarket, formerly of 142-154 Sherlock Street, Birmingham, B5 6NB owed £73,345.52, in tax from 1 May 2010 to 5 Apr 2014 and was given a penalty of £37,358.60. Allied Flooring Limited The flooring business, formerly of 4 Cole Valley Road, Birmingham, B28 0DB, owed £32,438.44 in the default period of 6 Apr 2020 to 5 Apr 2022 and was given a penalty of £32,438.44. Cain Maylum Ltd The vehicle manufacturer, of 190 Frankly Beeches Road, Birmingham, B31 5LY and formerly of 41 Harvest Close, Stirchley , B30 3AF, owed tax of £31,573.51 between 6 Apr 2020 to 5 Apr 2022 and was given a penalty of £31,573.51. Coey Limited (formerly known as DA Plastering Limited) The plastering firm, formerly of Nairn House, 1174 Stratford Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, B28 8AQ, defaulted on a £29,828.20 tax bill from 6 Apr 2020 to 5 Apr 2022 and was ordered to pay the same amount as a penalty. Tinkable Sutton Coldfield Ltd (formerly trading as ‘Tinkable’) The beauty treatment business, formerly of 130 High Street, Stourbridge , DY8 1DT, owed tax of £62,453 from 1 Nov 2016 to 31 Dec 2019 and was given a penalty of £40,438.31. Jamie Christopher Haden A flooring contractor, of 218 Field Road, Walsall , WS3 3HZ and formerly of 1 Cornwall Close, Wednesbury, WS10 0SE, owed £27,968.85 which was defaulted on from 6 Apr 2021 to 5 Apr 2024 and was given a £18,599.27 penalty. Nanzza Ltd The takeaway, formerly of 13 High Street, Brownhills, Walsall, WS2 7AW, defaulted on tax of £141,480.59 from 22 Nov 2016 to 30 Nov 2020 and was given a penalty of £90,193.86. Sam Gary Kevin Day The gas engineer, of 199 Shannon Drive, Walsall, WS8 7LD and formerly of 7 Arthur Street, Wimblebury, Cannock , WS12 2RY, owed tax of £51,424.75 from 6 Apr 2020 to 5 Apr 2024 and was given a £34,197.44 penalty. Santokh Kumar (formerly trading as ‘Featherstone Pizza’) The takeaway, formerly of 22 The Avenue, Featherstone, Wolverhampton, WV10 7AT, owed tax of £78,888.11 from 6 Apr 2018 to 31 Jul 2022 and was handed a penalty of £35,894.03. Noah Care Group Ltd (previously known as Noah’s Healthcare Ltd) The care services provider, of The Workspace, All Saints Road, Wolverhampton, WV2 1EL, owed tax of £61,280 from 1 Jan 2024 to 29 Feb 2024 and was given a penalty of £42,896. M & E Group (Leicester) Ltd The construction firm, formerly of Niphon Works, 43 Lower Villers Street, Wolverhampton, WV2 4NA, owed tax of £468,677 between 1 May 2022 to 29 Feb 2024 and was given a penalty of £292,923.08. AK Civil Services Ltd The construction firm, of 35 Veronica Avenue, Parkfields, Wolverhampton, WV4 6AJ, owed tax of £49,278 for the default period of 6 Dec 2023 to 5 Feb 2024 and was ordered to pay a penalty of £28,458.04. An HMRC spokesperson said: “Each entry on this list is specific to the default dates to which it refers. The address is the one associated with the published person at the time of the default. For example: “Amounts in the list relate to the tax/duty on which penalties are based and the penalties charged, where the penalty meets the criteria for publishing under the Publishing Details of Deliberate Defaulters legislation. “The list does not necessarily represent the full default of the taxpayer.”
