FSU Has Completely Given up on Mike Norvell & Tommy Castellanos as Disheartening Scenes Emerge

In the post-COVID era, being a Florida State fan is equivalent to being God’s strongest soldiers. The Seminoles are single-handedly the worst big-time football program in the preseason rankings. Mike Norvell and Tommy Castellanos fooled everybody with their fluke season opener against Bama. Since then, it’s been downhill toward another losing season. The Seminoles are now 3-4 and have already lost control of the locker room. Even the fans have totally given up on them. On November 1st, a Florida State insider and Editor-in-Chief for NolesGame hopped onto X with a pre-game footage of Florida State fans not batting an eye or showing any love while Mike Norvell and Tommy Castellanos were being introduced to the stadium for the Wake Forest game: “Reactions as Tommy Castellanos and Mike Norvell are introduced.” Not going to lie, the crowd looked like they are minding their own business. Truth be told, it’s a valid reaction considering how disappointing Mike Norvell and Tommy Castellanos have been for the Seminoles. For a minute, the Seminoles were rolling. They were 3-0 and top 7 in the AP Poll at one point this season. However, the success was short-lived, and now they are on a 3-game losing streak and even got exposed by an academic-first school (Stanford) in a 20-13 road loss. The problem for the Seminoles is that they struggle against both conference and non-conference opponents. They are 0-4 in conference play and have yet to show that week-one type of performance again. This downfall was surprising given the team’s strong beginning and led to frustration among supporters. However, the Seminoles still can make a bowl game if they win this game.
