We bonded over how Jordan was the GOAT and you told me about your basketball days in high school and I told you about my basketball days in college,” she said, describing it as a rare escape from the demands of life.She also recounted Charlie’s trademark red bracelet that read “work harder, be better.” She noted how he once gave it to a student, believing in inspiring others to carry forward the same mantra of perseverance and excellence.Sharing one of the last photos taken of Charlie before he was killed, Erika described it as her husband’s defining image: “This is your ‘Jordan’ photo. Permanently etched in time, held in my heart, as I admire your greatness. Forever.”Her post ended with a prayerful message to her late husband in heaven, capturing both her grief and her enduring devotion.Just days earlier, Erika had also shared a video of Charlie speaking to their daughter and had given her first public remarks. Standing beside his empty studio chair and holding his cross necklace, Erika honored his legacy of “faith, family, and sacrifice.”She also thanked first responders, supporters, and political leaders like Donald Trump and JD Vance for standing with her family during this difficult time. For Erika, the tributes are not just memories of a husband and father but also reminders of the values Charlie championed, faith, perseverance, and service to the nation.
