These programs have combined for 15 state titles. Heritage Hall won a 28-25 thriller against Millwood last year. Millwood (1-1), ranked No. 6 in 2AI, is coming off a 22-10 loss against Douglass last Saturday while Heritage Hall, ranked No. 3 in 3A, hasn’t played since a 35-6 loss on Sept. 5 at 3A No. 1 Lincoln Christian. Heritage Hall has made it to at least the semifinals in eight consecutive years with its most recent title in 2022. Millwood, which last won a gold ball in 2017, has been a state runner-up to Washington for the past three years in a row.
