The clinic has announced it will provide free dental check‑ups for veterans, serving military personnel, and University Officers’ Training Corps (UOTC) students from November 8-11. As part of the initiative, adult family members of veterans and service personnel will also receive 75% off their check‑up fees during the same period. The event will continue through Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day. Each appointment will include a comprehensive oral examination, a basic X‑ray, oral cancer screening, and gum disease screening. Patients can also ask for a review of their eligibility to receive advanced dental treatment or oral surgery during the examination. Those interested in claiming the offer will be asked to present proof of service, such as a Form MOD90 military ID, HM Armed Forces Veteran Card, or Defence Discount Service card. UOTC students can present their service ID or a letter from their unit confirming enrolment in the programme. The initiative is intended as a meaningful way to honour the sacrifices of military members and their families. “We wanted to show our gratitude in a way that supports the health and wellbeing of veterans, service members, and their families, and at the same time raise awareness of the importance of oral health,” said Sanjeiv Asokan, co-founder and managing director of Complete Smiles.
