Frank Lampard couldn't hide his grin when discussing a romantic Christmas present from his wife Christine that takes pride of place in his work office. The Coventry City manager has found success at the Championship club, taking them to the semi-finals of the play-offs last season and has them sitting pretty at the top of the table this year. Speaking on Sky Sports' YouTube channel, Lampard opened up about the secrets of life as a Championship boss, including what personal touches he keeps in his workspace. The 47-year-old explained: "My office here at work, the usual things I have in there which is very, very football related - tactics boards, planners, all these things. The personal items I think are the things that mean a lot to me. "We spend a lot of time in our offices in this job. So I have photos and pictures of my family and children." Lampard revealed that he keeps a candle in his office, a gift from TV presenter wife Christine. However, a grin crept onto his face as he noted the flame isn't lit very often - just to remind him that he is at work and not at home, reports Wales Online . Lampard continued: "I have one candle which my wife got me for last Christmas which I use now and again, not so much, I don't want to make it feel like the wrong place but that's something that she bought me. "So, I think it's important when you throw yourself into work that you have those moments of reflection where it feels you can feel your family there even when you're working away from them." Christine and Frank Lampard have been an item since October 2009, when the former Premier League star was still carving out his legendary status at Chelsea. The couple tied the knot in December 2015 and have two children together - a daughter and a son. Christine is also stepmother to Frank's two kids from a previous relationship.
