Francis Ngannou disagrees with Joe Rogan regarding ‘the biggest fight in human history’

Ever since Francis Ngannou left the UFC, the heavyweight division has been somewhat plagued with bad luck. In 2023 after defending his heavyweight title against Ciryl Gane, Francis Ngannou opted to leave the UFC in pursuit of higher pay elsewhere. Since then, the heavyweight division has been somewhat plagued and recently in the UFC 321 main event between champion Tom Aspinall and the aforementioned Gane, the fight ended in disaster after Aspinall was poked in the eye. With that, former heavyweight champion Jon Jones teased Aspinall by accepting a recent callout from light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, which was received well by not only the fans. Ngannou disagrees with Joe Rogan’s recent claim After both Jones and Pereira talked about a potential fight against each other, it was labeled as potentially ‘the biggest fight in human history’ by UFC icon Joe Rogan, who is champing at the bit to see the fight. However, ‘The Predator’ disagrees with Rogan’s claim and has stated that ‘the biggest fight in the world’ can only take place if he is involved in it. “You know the answer, you don’t need me for that,” he said to TMZ Sports when asked what a bigger fight is between him vs Jones and Jones vs Pereira. “Should I answer? Do you really need me to answer? The biggest fight of all time can only happen with Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou. That’s all I can say about that. No disrespect to other fighters, I respect all the fighters regardless of if the fight is a main card or prelim fight, whatever or wherever. “I think great fights happen everywhere, I became a world champion in the Apex with no crowd, so as long as it’s a fight, it’s not about the place but if you want to see the biggest fight of all time, you make it the biggest,” he continued. Could we ever see Ngannou return to the UFC? At this point, it is extremely unlikely that we ever get the fight between Jones and Ngannou, especially considering ‘The Predator’s’ bad relationship with Dana White and the promotion. Not only that, but it is unclear whether the former champion will even return to MMA after having competed twice in boxing. With him signed to the PFL, there is a severe lack of contenders for him to fight which has unfortunately resulted in his career going stagnant.
