A fourth person has been confirmed dead during a trip to Walt Disney World. On Tuesday, Nov. 4, TMZ reported that a woman visiting the resort died, though no further details surrounding her cause of death have been revealed at this time. “A woman in her 40s was transported to Celebration Hospital where she passed away,” Florida’s Orange County Sheriff’s Office told the outlet. OCSO also confirmed that there were no signs of foul play in the incident, which occurred on Sunday, Nov. 2. In mid-October, a guest died by suicide at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Despite rumors circulating around the resort and online, it was confirmed that the guest was not struck by the monorail, despite some disruptions in monorail service. Authorities identified the victim as Summer Equitz, 31, and the Orange County Medical Examiner determined that the cause of death was suicide due to multiple blunt impact injuries, according to Entertainment Weekly. On Tuesday, Oct. 21, a guest died following a “medical episode” at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. “A man in his 60s experienced a medical episode and was transported to a local hospital, where, unfortunately, he died. There are no signs of foul play,” an Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson told the New York Post. Then, on Thursday, Oct. 23, there was an emergency reported at Bay Lake Tower in the Magic Kingdom resort area. It was later confirmed that Matthew Cohn, 28, died by suicide. Guests staying at the resort were reportedly told to avoid looking out their windows, according to WCCF, Florida News Radio.
