The Sangareddy district administration made four ambulances available, along with technicians, for Basthi Dawakhana at 2BHK Colony in Kollur on Wednesday (November 5, 2025). Additionally, 10 fair price (ration) shops too were opened there. This comes a day after foundation stone was laid for facilities like a school, anganwadi centre and dining hall at the colony, by Health Minister C Damodar Raja Narasimha, along with Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy. While the government 2BHKs were allotted, people were not keen to stay there as the colony lacked facilities. A series of initiatives are being rolled out to address these concerns. Following assurance from the Health Minister, the ambulances were provided, said Sangareddy District Medical and Health Officer, Naga Nirmala. While two ambulances were drawn from Area Hospital in Patancheru, one was from 108 ambulance service and the fourth was donated by Medak MP M. Raghunandan Rao. People there have also requested for bus services to various parts of Hyderabad. They were also assured of a police outpost.
