Epic Games has announced Sidekicks, new companions that can accompany players in Fortnite. These customizable creatures can be used in Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, and other game modes developed by Epic. Sidekicks will make their debut when the next season kicks off on November 1. Sidekicks were revealed in a new blog post. Sidekicks travel alongside the player as they explore and fight enemies. They don’t provide any competitive advantage, but they’ll mimic player emotes and react to the action. According to Epic Games, most sidekicks will be customizable when first acquired, but once finalized, these changes are permanent. Sidekicks will earn Sidekick Points (SP) that can be used to unlock new cosmetics. Several Sidekicks have been revealed, including Peels, a banana puppy that players can earn in the new Battle Pass on November 1, 2025. Bonesy, Spike, and Lil’ Raptor will all come to the Item Shop on November 7. Sidekicks are the latest cosmetic to come to Fortnite, following the addition of Kicks (shoes) last year. This upcoming season will also mark the start of Fortnite’s Simpsons collaboration, which will add new Outfits, items, and locations to Battle Royale.
