A former WWE tag team titleholder has died at 58. Sir Mo of Men on a Mission had been battling severe health complications before his death, which was announced by Steve Stasiak of Book Pro Wrestlers. Mo, real name Bobby Horne, had been sent to the ICU due to septic shock and pneumonia. Several names within the wrestling industry, such as former WWE Women's Champion Leilani Kai, offered their condolences on social media. Kai provided an update on Mo's condition through the former WWE superstar's wife, Denise Jones, prior to the passing. He was paired with Mabel to form the Men on a Mission tag team. The two had been known as "The Harlem Knights" under the United States Wrestling Association banner before being introduced as a babyface duo on WWE TV. Mo and Mabel were also accompanied by Oscar, their rapping manager. During a house show in London on March 29, 1994, Men on a Mission defeated The Quebecers to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship. The reign only lasted two days, as The Quebecers regained the gold in Sheffield. Men on a Mission underwent a significant change in 1995. After attacking the Smoking Guns, Mo and Mabel betrayed Oscar to mark the beginning of their heel run in WWE. The team left the company the following year and returned to USWA before eventually disbanding in June 1996.
