John Cena has only four dates remaining on his WWE retirement tour, with the first of them being next week's episode of Monday Night RAW. The November 10 edition of RAW will be an extremely special and emotional one for the 17-time World Champion, as it is going to be his final appearance in his hometown of Boston. The episode is also expected to offer fans some clarity on Cena's direction for Survivor Series. John Cena is scheduled to appear at the event, and fans are eager to learn who he'll face at the show. His father recently revealed who he thought Cena should take on in San Diego. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, John Cena Sr. stated that his son should face Dominik Mysterio at the PLE for his Intercontinental Championship. He added that the build for the match can be done on next week's WWE RAW, where the younger Mysterio can attack Cena to set up the match."I think the guy that he's going to face and should face is Dominik Mysterio. You can already see that storyline coming in slow, but sure, because if you want some, come get some. And Mysterio's answer was, "If you want some, come get some". So in Boston, I think that's going to come to a head. If I were writing that, Cena would be cutting a promo. There'd be an interruption by Dominik Mysterio. Maybe Mysterio lays him out in the ring. That sets the match up for Survivor Series, and hopefully, at that match, if they're writing the end of the era, there's a grand slam because it's the only title he hasn't had. So we've got a little storyline there." Cena Sr. said.John Cena is a 26-time champion in WWE, having one many belts throughout his storied career. However, the Intercontinental Championship is not one of them as the title has evaded him all this time. Giving him a short reign with the IC title would ensure that one of the greatest wrestlers in the business retires as a grand slam champion. Please credit Sportskeeda Wrestling and embed the YouTube video if you use quotes from this article.
