TikTok troublemaker Mizzy has revealed how he has turned his life around after becoming a father.
Mizzy, whose real name is Bacari-Bronze O’Garro, carried out outlandish and abusive pranks to go viral. Among the pranks the 20-year-old from Hackney previously carried out included stealing an elderly woman’s dog, entering people’s homes without permission, and asking strangers in the street if they “want to die”.
These antics eventually landed him in prison. He was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison after violating a court order banning him from filming people without consent from his channel. However, he says he has put all of that behind him to concentrate on his family and work an ordinary job.
The former content creator is now out of prison and has used his platform for good, giving his fans a positive update on his life and warning those who may be considering following in his footsteps to think through their actions, and realise that they all have consequences.
He told followers how he has been “working in construction this past year, keeping my head down”, and added: “First off, I know first-hand how easy it is to get caught up in the hype of chasing views and trying to go viral on TikTok.
“But there’s a line between entertainment and recklessness, and when you cross that line it’s not just a prank anymore – it can change people’s lives forever.
“My advice to anyone coming up in the scene now is simple: think before you act, because the consequences don’t just end with likes and shares, they can end with police, court, and victims left hurt or traumatised.”
He added that he would not rule out coming back to make more content soon following the birth of his children – the youngest of whom was born in June, with the elder now aged two.
In a post of is newest son shared to his 146,000 Instagram followers, he said: “One son changed my life. The second one made it real. Didn’t see that coming did you?”
He also took to X to say he is committed to making a change for good for life.
He wrote: “The day I came out of jail I told myself I am never going back and that imma [sic] do whatever it takes to change my life around so I can do better for my child and the people around me.
“So I went back to college, started looking for loads of jobs and signed up to a CSCS course.
“Now I’m trying to progress further in different aspects of my life and change any negative perceptions on me and of course I won’t be able to change everyone’s mind due to how I’ve portrayed myself in the past on social media, but I hopefully resonate with the people who understand.
“Yes, I will be returning to socials and posting videos eventually but only in a way that will prevent me from being in risk of harm and anyone else.”
