Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez was reportedly stabbed and rushed to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The alleged incident occurred on Saturday, October 4, at around 12:30 a.m. in downtown Indianapolis, according to TMZ Sports.
Sanchez, 38, was one of two people reportedly injured and taken to a local hospital. No other details about the incident have been made publicly available.
The former New York Jets quarterback is currently a color analyst for Fox Sports. He is in Indianapolis to broadcast the game between the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, October 5.
Before his NFL career — which also included stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders — Sanchez was a star at the University of Southern California.
Sanchez married his wife, actress Perry Mattfeld, in May 2023.
