The Narsingi police arrested a former corporator of Neknampur municipality, K. Padma Rao, along with three others, for allegedly assaulting residents during a colony association meeting.
Police said that during a meeting of the Venkateshwar Colony Association, Padma Rao engaged in a heated argument with association members, which escalated into a physical altercation. He attacked three individuals.
The other three accused, identified as Koteshwar Rao, Dev Singh, and Ati, were also taken into custody in connection with the incident.
The victims filed a complaint at Narsingi police station on September 13, and the arrests were made on September 17. Further investigation is underway.
