Foreign digital service providers paid UZS 124.8bn ($10.4mn) in taxes to Uzbekistan from January to September 2025, according to the country’s Tax Committee. This marks a 44% increase compared to the same period last year. A total of 73 international companies providing online services to Uzbek users contributed to the tax revenue during the period, up from 63 companies in 2024. Tech giant Meta topped the list with UZS 35.2bn ($2.93 mn), followed closely by Apple with UZS 35.1bn ($2.92mn), and Google with UZS 31.2bn ($2.59mn) in taxes.
