Football: Cougars Defeated Social Club 4-3 Devonshire Cougars claimed a win, edging Young Men Social Club 4-3 in a high-scoring match at Devonshire Recreation Club. Mosiais Mills opened the scoring for the home side in the second minute, giving the Cougars a 1-0 lead that held through halftime. Young Men Social Club equalized shortly after the restart when Zeiko Lewis found the net in the 47th minute. Mills responded nine minutes later with his second goal, a powerful strike from the edge of the box, to restore the Cougars’ lead. Che Brangman extended the advantage to 3-1 in the 59th minute with a right-footed finish from inside the area. Clay Darrell pulled one back for Social Club in the 85th minute after breaking through the defense, but the Cougars quickly reasserted control when Kydan Brown scored from close range in the 90th minute to make it 4-2. Josh Hardtman added a late goal for Social Club in stoppage time, but Devonshire held firm to secure the three points and their first victory of the campaign. Category: All, Sports
