The pursuit eventually came to an end on a cycle path alongside the River Tawe where the helicopter's guidance enabled ground units to intercept the driver. The 21-year-old rider was arrested at the scene and later pleaded guilty to offences including dangerous driving and possession of cannabis. He was handed a suspended prison sentence, fined, and disqualified from driving for two years.
