Will Albums by Florence + The Machine, Tyler, The Creator or Michael Jackson Crack the Top 10 Next Week? ‘I’m So Excited For Coachella’: Ninajirachi Talks Touring and Future Music Plans Taylor Swift Completes Another ARIA Chart Double With ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ It makes for Florence Welch’s fifth set to reach the summit following 2009’s Lungs, 2011’s Ceremonials, 2015’s How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful and 2022’s Dance Fever. Her fourth studio LP, High as Hope, peaked at No. 2 in 2018. Speaking to the Official Charts Company, Welch said, “Sixteen years on from Lungs, I take none of this for granted. I’m so grateful to everyone who took time with this record. It is a scream, but I also wanted it to be a balm to anyone who needed it. Sending love x.” Everybody Scream was produced alongside The National’s Aaron Dessner, Glass Animals’ Dave Bayley, IDLES’ Mark Bowe, Danny L Harle, and superproducer and frequent collaborator James Ford. Welch will embark on a U.K. and Ireland arena tour in February 2026, before hitting North America in April. Chatter around Lily Allen’s West End Girl has propelled the LP up the charts to a new high of No. 2. It first arrived on the U.K. Albums Chart at No. 4 last week, though discourse about the songs’ subject matter — that of an unfaithful former partner, widely assumed to be Stranger Things star David Harbour — has kept momentum on streaming and downloads. Physicals of the record will be released in January. Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl holds its position at No. 3, having already spent three weeks at the summit in October. She was dethroned by a massive opening week for Dave’s third LP, The Boy Who Played the Harp. Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving holds strong at No. 4 as she readies herself for a performance on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 15. Following her stint on the U.K. version of the Celebrity Traitors, Cat Burns’ How to Be a Human lands at No. 5 for a new career high.
