The order was obtained with the help of housing provider GreenSquareAccord, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said. They added: “By issuing a Full Closure Order we can ensure the residents and wider community can once again enjoy the freedoms to live in a safe environment. “A number of teams worked together on the issue including officers from Walsall’s Serious Organised Crime and Exploitation Team, (SOCEX) with support from Walsall Prevention Hub and St Matthew’s Neighbourhood team. “By issuing a Full Closure Order we can ensure the residents and wider community can once again enjoy the freedoms to live in a safe environment.” PC Jo Lloyd, from our Walsall Serious Organised Crime and Exploitation Team, (SOCEX), said: “This property was causing real upset for people in the community, and we had received a lot of complaints. “We listened to their concerns and with the help of our partners have taken action and been granted a Full Closure Order at court which will be in place for three months. “We just hope this order will now improve the quality of life for residents in the community who had been so badly affected by anti-social behaviour which was originating from the property.” To report anti-social behaviour, contact police on their website or ring 101.
