Lamar County Head Start students received some special visitors recently as local first responders stopped by to spend time with the preschoolers. The visit followed lessons from the Frog Street Curriculum unit, “Safe, Healthy, and Helpful Me,” where students learned about safety, health and community helpers. To bring those lessons to life, firefighters, Lamar County Sheriff’s Officers and emergency medical personnel met with the 3- and 4-year-olds to talk about the important work they do every day to keep our community safe. kAmsFC:?8 E96 G:D:E[ DEF56?ED =62C?65 23@FE E96 C@=6 @7 7:CDE C6DA@?56CD 2?5 9@H E96J 96=A @E96CD :?
