Final Injury Report for Pacers-Jazz, Will T.J. McConnell, Bennedict Mathurin Play?

The Indiana Pacers are on the road on Tuesday night as they travel to take on the Utah Jazz in an interconference matchup. It has been a rough start to the season for the Pacers as they enter Tuesday’s game with a 1-9 record after losing to the Golden State Warriors on the road on Sunday. In Sunday’s loss to the Warriors, Andrew Nembhard led the way for the Pacers as he recorded 14 points and nine assists while Jay Huff added 12 points and 11 rebounds of his own. Now Indiana will try to pick up their second victory of the season in Tuesday’s matchup against a struggling Jazz team. On the other side, the Jazz enter Tuesday’s contest with a 3-7 record after losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night. Keyonte George led the way for Utah in Monday’s loss as he ended the game with 27 points, six rebounds and six assists while Lauri Markkanen recorded 21 points and eight rebounds. While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Tuesday’s matchup to help turn their season around, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries. Pacers Injury Report, Will T.J. McConnell, Bennedict Mathurin Play? For the Pacers, they enter Tuesday’s game with eight players listed on their injury report as their roster continues to be decimated by injuries to begin the season. Indiana has upgraded T.J. McConnell to questionable for Tuesday’s contest due to a left hamstring strain and there is a possibility that he will be able to make his season debut against the Jazz. The Pacers have also listed Taelon Peter as questionable due to right groin soreness while Bennedict Mathurin has been ruled out due to a toe sprain. Johnny Furphy, Quenton Jackson, Kam Jones, Obi Toppin and Tyrese Haliburton have also all been ruled out for Tuesday’s game as they continue to recover from injuries. Jazz Injury Report, Will Kyle Anderson, Taylor Hendricks Play? On the other side, the Jazz have five players listed on their injury report for Tuesday’s game against he Pacers. Utah has ruled out Kyle Anderson due to lower back soreness as he will miss his second consecutive game. The Jazz have also ruled out Taylor Hendricks as he will miss his second consecutive game due to right hamstring soreness. Walker Kessler, Kevin Love and Georges Niang have also been ruled out for Tuesday’s game for the Jazz.
