The Atlanta Hawks are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Brooklyn Nets in an Eastern Conference matchup. Now the hawks will try to bounce back as they seek their second victory of the season on Wednesday on the road against the Nets. On the other side, the Nets enter Wednesday’s game still winless on the season after dropping their fourth consecutive game on Monday night against the Houston Rockets. Terance Mann led the way in Monday’s loss to the Rockets as he recorded 21 points and six rebounds while Michael Porter Jr. ended the game with 18 points and four rebounds. While both teams are searching for a key early-season victory in Wednesday’s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries. For the Hawks, they have two players listed on their injury report for Wednesday’s game as they have listed both Jalen Johnson and Zaccharie Risacher as probable. Johnson is listed as probable with a right ankle sprain and he is expected to play after he was able to play through the injury in Monday’s loss to the Bulls. Risacher is also listed as probable due to a right ankle sprain and he is expected to play after making his season debut on Monday night against Chicago. This is massive news for the Hawks as it appears both players will be available for Wednesday’s game, along with Porzingis who has been in and out of the lineup due to an illness. Nets Injury Report, Will Ziaire Williams, Haywood Highsmith Play? On the other side, the Nets have two players listed on their injury report for Wednesday’s matchup. Brooklyn has listed Ziaire Williams as questionable due to a lower back and glute contusion while Haywood Highsmith has been ruled out as he continues to recover from right knee surgery. Because of this, the Nets recalled Drake Powell and Danny Wolf from their G League team ahead of their game against the Hawks.
