Yesterday, armed and masked federal agents were spotted patrolling downtown Chicago, as allegedly part of ICE’s “Operation: Midway Blitz.”
While some agents were spotted on boats on the Chicago River, most were seen walking the streets of Millennium Park, a tourist area, with some reportedly detaining individuals — although no arrests have been reported at this time.
Naturally, the rise of border patrol and ICE agents in Chicago, especially after Friday’s protest surrounding an ICE building, has gotten a lot of attention on Twitter (X). However, there is one video, in particular, that has garnered over 7 million views, that are making people absolutely lose it.
Christopher Sweat, co-founder and CEO of @GrayStakMedia posted a video on Twitter (X), that begins with border patrol agents standing in downtown Chicago.

The next thing you see is a man getting off his bike to grab what seems to be a phone on the street.
He then quickly jumps back on his bike to get away from the agents, who start chasing him, yelling, “Get him.” The cyclist gets away.
On Live Fox Now’s TikTok, a longer cut of the original video is played with the cyclist yelling “Fuck Trump” and the agents laughing in response as he almost hits the curb, which shows why his phone fell onto the floor.
Ever since this video was posted online, people have been getting very creative with their responses:
“Everyone watching the man get away,” one person said.

“Later, the same man painted a giant railway tunnel on a brick wall and 6 of the 11 agents chasing him were seriously hurt when they ran into it,” said another.
Even British-American journalist Mehdi Hasan commented on the matter: “This is the best video you will see today”
Other people thought music needed to be added, such as the theme song from The Benny Hill Show. You can view the video here.
On the other side of the coin, people were calling out how wild this is:
