Premium meal delivery company Feast & Fettle is expanding into Maryland with a new production and distribution facility in Howard County, Governor Wes Moore announced Wednesday. The Rhode Island–based company will lease a 25,000-square-foot space at 7071 Dorsey Run Road in Elkridge, where it will craft, package, and distribute its fully prepared meals for customers across the Mid-Atlantic. The project is expected to create about 250 full-time jobs over the next three years. Moore, via press release. “While the company is focused on providing healthy meals for its customers, it is also dedicated to providing access to free meals through its community partners. In this great time of need, we’re proud to support Feast & Fettle as it works towards both of these important goals. Founded in 2016 by a private chef in Rhode Island, Feast & Fettle has grown into one of New England’s fastest-growing meal delivery services. To support the project, the Maryland Department of Commerce is working to approve a $1 million conditional loan through Advantage Maryland. Additionally, the Howard County Economic Development Authority will provide a $500,000 repayable loan for working capital and a $100,000 reimbursable workforce training grant.
