An entertainment outfit, The Grill Hype, hosted a refreshing mix of art, competition, and camaraderie. The event, tagged ‘The Grill Warfare II,’ brought together some of the best and brightest creatives in Abuja for an unforgettable day of music, games, and creative expression. One of the major highlights was the city’s first-ever Compliment Rap Battle, where participants competed not with disses but with verses of praise and positivity, a dynamic twist on rap culture that celebrated creativity without conflict. Emerging as the inaugural champion was Buez, The Boy Wonder, whose witty wordplay and commanding presence earned him the title and solidified his place in Abuja’s cultural history. Beyond the lyrical display, the event featured the much-anticipated Creative Paintball Tournament, which united designers, DJs, stylists, OAPs, artists, and entertainers across industries for an afternoon of friendly competition and community spirit.
