The makers of 120 Bahadur, one of the year’s most anticipated war dramas, are set to begin their promotional campaign with a grand musical launch in Lucknow. The event will unveil the film’s first song — the powerful anthem “Dada Kishan Ki Jai” — in the presence of the film’s team and key collaborators including Farhan Akhtar, Sukhwinder Singh, Razy Ghai, and the Charlie Boys. Backed by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios, 120 Bahadur narrates the incredible story of courage and sacrifice inspired by the valour of Indian soldiers during the 1962 Battle of Rezang La. The film’s teaser and poster have already stirred excitement, offering a glimpse into a deeply emotional and patriotic cinematic experience. A Grand Musical Launch in Lucknow The anthem “Dada Kishan Ki Jai” marks the beginning of the film’s musical journey. The song has been composed and produced by Salim–Sulaiman, penned by Javed Akhtar, and soulfully sung by Sukhwinder Singh. Designed as the spirit and war cry of 120 Bahadur, the anthem embodies courage, resilience, and national pride — serving as the heartbeat of the film’s narrative. The Lucknow launch event will be a grand affair, reflecting the scale and emotion of the film itself. The song’s title pays homage to Dada Kishan Singh, a revered symbol of bravery, encapsulating the indomitable spirit of India’s soldiers. Farhan Akhtar & Sukhwinder Singh Reunite 120 Bahadur stars Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, the heroic commander who led 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment in the legendary battle. Farhan shares a long-standing creative bond with Sukhwinder Singh, dating back to their collaboration on Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Their reunion for Dada Kishan Ki Jai adds emotional depth to the film’s patriotic core. An Epic Tale of Courage Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, 120 Bahadur retells the story of the 13 Kumaon Regiment, whose 120 soldiers fought valiantly against overwhelming odds at Rezang La. The film highlights their spirit through one resonant line: “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge” — “We will not retreat.” The Team Behind the Film Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), 120 Bahadur promises to blend historical authenticity with cinematic grandeur. The film is slated to release in cinemas on 21st November 2025, and the anthem launch in Lucknow marks the first step in what promises to be a powerful promotional journey leading up to its release.
