Key Points Several top running backs are unavailable in Week 9, mostly due to bye weeks. Kareem Hunt may become a top starter if Isiah Pacheco is sidelined. High-end backs should do their thing, and we're likely to see an emphasis on pass-catching performances. Running backs get hit hard by Week 9 bye weeks, removing the likes of Breece Hall, Quinshon Judkins, Saquon Barkley, Bucky Irving and Rachaad White from the slate. Several of those backs will appreciate a much-needed reprieve for an opportunity to heal up. Kansas City Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (knee) is iffy to play in Week 9, and his absence would cement Kareem Hunt as a rock-solid starter a week after his two-TD performance on Monday Night Football.
