Fantasy football takeaways from NFL Week 3: Bye bye, Bengals

The Indianapolis Colts face the Los Angeles Rams, Las Vegas Raiders and Arizona Cardinals in the next three weeks, so Jones is fully in must-start territory going forward.

Hunter Henry is the most valuable Patriots pass-catcher

If you started Henry in your tight end slot this week, congratulations. The New England Patriots TE went off for eight catches on 11 targets, 90 yards and two touchdowns against the Pittsburgh Steelers. More importantly, Henry led all New England skill players in snaps (60), routes run (35) and targets (11). No other Patriots saw more than five targets in Week 3.

Henry is the third-ranked fantasy tight end through three weeks. There aren’t many TEs who operate as the focal point of their team’s passing game, so Henry should be in starting lineups until that changes.

Trey Benson is a crucial waiver wire add

James Conner suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Week 3, opening the door for Benson to take over as the RB1 for the Arizona Cardinals. Luckily for fantasy owners, Benson is still available in nearly 50 percent of ESPN leagues. If he’s available in your league, you better hope you have the top waiver wire priority.

For leagues that feature bidding on free agents, it might be worth spending all or most of your FAAB for Benson. He immediately steps in as the bell cow running back in an above-average offense that loves to run the ball, especially near the goal line.
