Fans Rally Around Paige Spiranac After She Admits She Played ‘Terribly’: ‘Absolutely Stunning'

“I have a really toxic love-hate relationship with the game of golf,” was what Paige Spiranac once said. Her attempts at reigning in the game early on in life failed. So she detoured, chose a career better suited to her personality, and it will not be wrong to say that she is excelling in it. A single photo drop on social media can leave her 4 million followers gasping for breath. The new post is one such example.
Spiranac, taking to X, posted a stunning selfie of herself in a golf cart. Her golf bag can be seen in the background, as Spiranac smiles heartedly at the camera, wearing a white top and dark grey pants. The caption for the picture says, “Played terribly today but at least my outfit was cute😬.”
In just a few hours, the picture received 46k+ views, with several thousand likes and hundreds of comments. Fans have their jaws on the floor with the number of comments increasing every single minute. This is not new for Spiranac at all.

Posting on both her X and Instagram accounts, Spiranac could be seen adorning a short white dress with a small megaphone in her hand that says, “Are you looking at my putt?” The post has more than 50k likes across both her platforms.
Most of these snaps are captured at golf courses, where she regularly tees off to hone her golfing skills. Now 32, a young Spiranac has played in NCAA Division I golf at Arizona and San Diego State early on in her career. She had earned All-Mountain West honors twice while playing for the Aztecs. Less than a decade ago, she debuted on the Cactus Tour and had also competed in LPGA qualifiers. But the mental toll of the game eventually caught up with her, and she called it a career.
“I just could never get over the golf course anxiety. And I would just feel that my mind always won, and I was weak, and I could just never overcome that feeling,” noted the model cum influence who was recently enjoying her time at the Grass League 2025 event.

Coming from an athletic family, it was an unsaid pressure on her to carve out a name for herself in the world of sport. Her Father, Dan, played football for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers, winning multiple championships. Her mother, Annette, on the other hand, was a professional ballerina. And then there is her sister, who earned a college athletic scholarship for Stanford.
But life had something else stored for Spiranac.
With a strong engagement rate of around 1.87% and an average of 75,000 likes per post, Paige has cultivated a large, loyal following of golf lovers. On YouTube, she has 461k subscribers, where she either shares golf tips or makes daily vlogs, amassing at times millions of views. But these achievements came with their own set of challenges.
For the last few years, Spiranac has faced a spree of fake accounts under her name, asking for money and other advances from several of her fans. The consequences of such cases have been extreme, as she often shares. This led to her launching her own subscription-based website called “OnlyPaige”, where she often posts exclusive content for her paid members. Currently, she has an account on Passes, which serves a similar purpose.
Still, Spiranac often comes on her socials time and time again to share a glimpse of her life, as fans keep asking more of it.
Fans can’t keep cool over Spiranac’s hot new post
Of course, the comment sections of all of her posts are filled with fans frantically typing praises for Paige Spiranac. While some of them are the generic trolls, the majority of them are Spiranac’s loyal base, in awe of their favorite. So when Spiranac said she did not play a good golf in the new post, many were quick to uplift her. Let us look at some of the comments.
“You may have lost the game, but you won Instagram,” one fan noted. Spiranac currently has more than 600 posts on the meta account, drawing more followers every single second. She is consistently among the top 5000 most followed Instagram accounts worldwide in the sports category. Moreover, she has a 1.86% likes-to-followers ratio and achieved a peak daily follower growth of +0.03% which is considered “good.” If one goes by data, her estimated monthly earnings through Instagram could be $11,000-$15,000. So yeah, indeed, she has won Instagram.
Then some fans could not get tired of appreciating the golf influencer’s face card, as one of them wrote: “You’re absolutely stunning beauty.” Just a few years ago, in 2022, Spiranac was named Maxim’s “Sexiest Woman Alive” and the first athlete to top the Hot 100 list. On the same lines, another fan said, “A piece of heaven, must be a delight to be you.”
“Wearing feel-good attire definitely brings you confidence 😃😍,” was another user’s remark. While Spiranac’s work in the golf world is noteworthy in itself, she also does not shy away from doing multiple interesting challenges on her social media. Days ago, she posted a picture of herself dressed as Scooby Doo’s Velma, announcing a new challenge for Halloween. As per the challenge, she would be wearing 31 costumes in 31 days starting on October 1. The costumes would not be a repeat, and all this exclusive content could be captured on her Passes account. “It’s that time of year again🎃,” the caption of the post read. Echoing the sentiment, another fan chimed in, “My Barbie doll is always cute 😍.”

Another fan, agreeing to her caption, wrote, “Yes indeed! However, your game better get better quick by this Monday because you’re the special guest at the Celebrity Chef’s outing at Montclair GC for City Harvest!” Spiranac is set to attend the sixth annual Celebrity Chefs & Friends Golf and Tennis Tournament Benefiting City Harvest on October 6. Hosted by Annika Sorenstam, there will be a huge list of popular names like Patrick McEnroe, Kwame Onwuachi, Simon Kim, and many more. The event is conducted to raise money for supporting City Harvest’s work in providing free, nutritious food for New Yorkers in need.
All in all, Paige didn’t say whether her time on the course was teasing a new project, a video, or just a casual round of golf. But whatever the reason, her latest pictures were enough to send fans into a frenzy.
