Sunday NFL betting preview
The Cincinnati Bengals have scored only one touchdown in Jake Browning’s two starts this season after taking over as Bengals quarterback with Joe Burrow (toe) injured. This resulted in a 38-point loss to the Vikings and a 25-point loss to the Broncos, and Browning and the Bengals likely face the toughest challenge yet against the Lions on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET. The Bengals are 10-point underdogs against the Lions in the latest Week 5 NFL odds at Fanatics Sportsbook, with an over/under set at 49.5 points. Cincinnati scored three touchdowns with Browning at quarterback agaisnt the Jaguars in the game Burrow suffered the injury, but the 29-year-old hasn’t been nearly as efficient since then.
The Washington Commanders will be kicking off in Los Angeles against the Chargers at roughly the same time in another 4:25 p.m. ET contest on Sunday, and Jayden Daniels is expected to return after missing the last two weeks with a knee injury. The Commanders split those two contests and are 2-2 entering Sunday, with the Chargers at 3-1. Los Angeles is coming off a 21-18 upset loss to the Giants in New York, but they’ll return home for Sunday. The Chargers are 3-point favorites at Fanatics Sportsbook, with an over/under set at 47 points. Bet on Sunday’s NFL games at Fanatics Sportsbook:
