While he became incredibly popular in NXT, his time on WWE’s main roster left something to be desired, largely because of strange booking decisions.Lee made an immediate impact when he went to AEW, earning the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Strickland.However, his time at AEW was cut short after he suffered an undisclosed injury and underwent surgery in January 2024.Needless to say, fans have been waiting for the Limitless One to make his triumphant return. And recently on social media, he let the world know that he will be back.When a fan recently shared that they couldn’t wait to see him return to the ring, Lee shared that a return would “certainly happen.” However, he didn’t give a specific timeline as to when.”You honor me,” Lee said. “I appreciate you for that. All my gratitude. I’d like to take this moment to remind you, that you also, are boundless.”Additionally, I’ll take a moment to reassure you that a return to the ring will certainly happen. Though I won’t posit how or when. Much Love.”It’s certainly exciting to hear Lee’s optimism in this situation.
