EXPLAINED: Why Jasprit Bumrah Has Travelled To Australia Despite Not Being Selected In ODI Series

India are currently taking on Australia in the final ODI of the three-match series at the Sydney Cricket Ground. India have already lost the series by conceding defeat in the first two ODIs. One of the reasons pointed out to the series defeat was the absence of Jasprit Bumrah in the squad for the three ODIs. India's pace attack did look a little jaded without the presence of the star pacer. However, the pacer has landed in Australia and is currently stationed there despite his absence in the ODI series. After the ODI series gets over, India are all set to play Australia in a five-match T20I series with the first match taking place on September 29 (Wednesday) at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. Jasprit Bumrah is part of the T20I series, and along with the other members of the squad has already travelled to Canberra to train before the crucial series picks up. Hence, Jasprit Bumrah is already in Australia even though he is not part of the ODI series.
