Expert panel meet on English-Malayalam glossary held on Karyavattom campus of Kerala University

The second session of the expert committee meeting on the preparation of the fundamental English-Malayalam glossary was recently held on the Karyavattom campus of Kerala University.
The five-day meeting, which concluded on September 20, was organised by the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT) under the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, Kerala University.
According to a press note, the meeting marked significant progress in developing the glossary, which encompasses 3,837 technical terms in Commerce.
The initiative was coordinated by Inderdeep Singh, Assistant Scientific Officer, CSTT. Biju A.V., Associate Professor of the Commerce department, Kerala University served as the local convenor and expert contributor.
Other panel members included Naduvattom Gopalakrishnan, former Deputy Director of Collegiate Education, Kerala and Honorary Professor at the International School of Dravidian Linguistics; L. Darwin, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Linguistics; Naushad S., Associate Professor and Head, Department of Malayalam; Nithya P. Viswam, Associate Professor of Malayalam, S.N. College, Kollam; Ajeesh A., Assistant Professor, Govinda Pai Memorial Government College, Manjeswaram; Karthika K., Assistant Professor of Commerce, NSS Hindu College, Changanassery; and Manikandan C., Assistant Professor of Commerce, Sree Neelakanta Government Sanskrit College, Pattambi.
