Exhibitors at the two-day Northern Business Fair, organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale, have expressed satisfaction with the successful conclusion of the event. Many participants said the fair met their expectations and called for an extension of its duration in future editions to allow for more business interactions and networking opportunities. Speaking to Channel One News, Esther Naabu Krakue of Amat Solutions Company Limited shared her excitement after meeting a potential investor who offered to mentor her. “I got an opportunity to talk to a white man who offered me free mentorship after this programme. He promised to give me my coach,” she said. For his part, Saani Abukari of Saan One-One Wood Works described the fair as a valuable platform that connected him with key stakeholders. “I got some links for a partnership to grow my business. My expectation has been met,” he remarked. Other exhibitors, including Alhassan Tahiru Niindoo of A.T. Soul White Enterprise, Kassim Abdul Aziz of Organic Green Village, and Abdul Halim Ibrahim of Gamma Smocks, also commended the organisers and appealed for additional days to be added to subsequent fairs. “It’s very great, I would thank Channel One TV for organising this event, they should try and do it every six months for us to have connections to grow our businesses,” Abdul Aziz said. Halim Ibrahim said, This is a wonderful programme which has given us exposure to the community. The fair should have an extension of three days; they should keep the work going. I’m happy Channel One TV will do it in 2026. We’re very happy and wish to see more.” The exhibitors noted that the event provided increased visibility, new partnerships, and improved market access, which they believe will translate into business growth and long-term collaborations. The two-day Northern Business Fair was powered by Channel One TV and Citi FM, and sponsored by Ecobank, Syde Hassle, the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), with support from Kacstone Records.
