What makes this project architecturally special? Medicine comes in many forms, which is why the Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Expanded Infusion Clinic was built with aesthetics in mind—like natural light from east facing windows, half-frosted windows, wood accents, calming tones and nature inspired views. Since the nearly $12.3 million project opened in February, the clinic has increased daily capacity by nearly 40%. Previously scattered services are now in one location. “By consolidating previously scattered services, the clinic enhances patient experience and staff efficiency, without disrupting care.” The building was designed to meet CALGreen building standards through materials and equipment that were used.
