In a shocking twist to a high-profile Punjab family tragedy, the son of the former Punjab director general of police (DGP), who was found dead in his Panchkula home, has accused his father of having an affair with his wife and even orchestrating a plot to murder her.A case has been registered against former Punjab DGP (Human Rights) Mohammad Mustafa, his wife and ex-minister Razia Sultana, their daughter, and daughter-in-law under Sections 103(1) and 61 BNS, following the death of their son, Akeel Akhtar (35).Police said that Akeel was found unconscious at his home by his family, who later claimed that the death resulted from a drug overdose.
