Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez is in hospital with critical injuries after being stabbed in Indianapolis, according to TMZ Sports. Police were called at around 12:30 am on Saturday to reports of two injured people in downtown Indianapolis. One of them was identified as the former first-round draft pick. Sanchez, 38, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Authorities have not yet confirmed what led to the incident. The former New York Jets quarterback was in the city for his role as a FOX Sports broadcaster and had been scheduled to call Sunday’s Colts vs Raiders game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Sanchez played college football at the University of Southern California from 2005 to 2008, leading one of the top teams in the country before being selected fifth overall by the Jets in the 2009 NFL Draft. Off the field, Sanchez was known for his high-profile relationships with actresses and models including Eva Longoria, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Kate Upton.
