Ex-MSU coach Mel Tucker's former mansion listed at $2.7M

EAST LANSING, MI — The house where former Michigan State University football coach Mel Tucker once lived could soon be yours. That is, if you happen to have a cool $2.7 million to spend.
A real estate listing from RE/MAX Real Estate Professionals shows the 12,534 square-foot home is now up for sale. Public tax records show the house, located at 2471 Overglen Court, is owned by the Jo-Ellyn H. Tucker Trust. Last year, Jo-Ellyn Tucker filed for divorce from Mel Tucker, months after he was fired following an alleged sexual harassment scandal.
The home sits on 1.38 acres of land and is located just minutes from the MSU campus. The listing says more than $750,000 in “recent major improvements” have been made to the home.
The house has eight bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, eight fireplaces and a four-car garage. It includes a gourmet kitchen, entertainment areas, home theater, sauna, a library, a game room, a half court basketball court, and an in-home elevator.
